BU Animated Stickers
THE BRIEF:
Create fun interactive elements to get Bradley students engaged on social media. Design and animate several Giphy stickers which will be usable in apps such as Snapchat and Instagram.
Between the University's unique gargoyle mascot "Kaboom!", and the campus' love for our resident squirrels, I knew I had a lot of distinctive Bradley icons to work with. While I aimed to make some stickers appropriately cleaner and elegant like the "Lydia's Legacy" medallion, the more character-oriented stickers use a hand-drawn, comic-strip style. I wanted the squirrels in particular to have a Snoopy-like charm, and to retain features that make real life squirrels cute (rounded faces with beady eyes, massive tails, small dexterous hands, etc.).
