True Colors United Awareness
THE BRIEF:
Create three campaign pieces to raise awareness for LGBTQ+ youth homelessness, directing the cause to True Colors United, an organization dedicated to solving this issue nationwide.
In both the phrasing and the art, my top priority for these pieces were to evoke a strong pathos to any viewer. I wanted these to feel bleak, personal, and poignant, emphasizing the fact that there are very young, dependent people who live in fear of being who they are lest they risk their basic needs for survival. Regardless of political opinions, religious beliefs or otherwise, any sympathetic person can rally behind the idea that no child or teen should be abandoned or driven to fend for themselves.
